Noticing more hair in the shower drain or a widening part can be unsettling. At Divine Elements, we see hair as a reflection of overall health, and we favour approaches that support the scalp and the body together. That’s why we’re excited to talk about pairing Alma TED, an in-office, non-invasive treatment, with DE|RIVE®MD Hair Support Serum, a plant-based daily product for home. And this November, we’re running a Black Friday sale on Alma TED treatments, so it’s a great time to get started.

Start With the Why

Hair thinning has many possible causes:

  • Genetics
  • Hormonal shifts
  • Stress
  • Nutrition
  • Sleep
  • Scalp health can all play a role.

Alma TED’s makers point to genetics, hormonal changes, stress, and poor scalp health as common contributors. A good plan begins with a conversation about your history, your lifestyle, and any underlying factors worth looking into. Topical and in-office treatments work best as one part of that bigger picture, not a replacement for it. We offer a free 15 minute Hair Consult with one of our practitioners to see if this would be a good fit for you!

What Is Alma TED?

Alma TED (TransEpidermal Delivery) is a non-invasive hair restoration treatment that uses sound waves, air pressure, and a topical hair serum to stimulate hair growth. There’s no surgery, no incisions, and no anesthesia.

What a session looks like

  1. Consultation. We look at your scalp, your pattern of thinning, and your goals. Ideal candidates tend to have early to moderate thinning, shedding, or a receding hairline and want a nonsurgical option with no downtime.
  2. Treatment. The device is gently moved across the scalp, delivering low-frequency ultrasound energy and air pressure. 1-3 treatments spaced 1-2 months a part, has seen the best results
  3. Delivery. The ultrasound is designed to help a growth-supporting serum penetrate more deeply into the scalp.
  4. Maintenance. Patients typically need maintenance sessions to sustain the benefits every 6 months after the 3 session program.

How Alma TED May Be Beneficial

  • Gentle and non-invasive. There’s no downtime, which suits people who want to avoid surgery or injections.
  • Supports scalp circulation. The technology improves blood flow to the scalp, which is meant to support thicker, stronger hair. Healthy circulation helps bring nutrients to the follicles.
  • Targets the scalp environment. Rather than just covering thinning, it works on the area where hair growth begins.
  • A good fit for early intervention. If you’re noticing the first signs of thinning, starting sooner may give you more to work with.
  • Complements other care. Because it’s non-surgical, it can sit alongside nutrition, stress management, and other supportive therapies.

As with any treatment, results vary from person to person, and we’ll set realistic expectations with you at your consultation.

Why Pair It With a Daily Plant-Based Serum?

The time between appointments is where daily habits matter most. A consistent at-home routine keeps supporting your scalp when you’re not in the clinic.

DE|RIVE®MD describes its serum as clinically tested, 100% plant-based, vegan, and all-natural, made without synthetic ingredients, and for topical use only. The botanical ingredients will feel familiar to anyone who works with traditional plant medicine:

  • Curry leaf (Murraya koenigii): the brand says it helps fortify hair fibers.
  • Black seed (Nigella sativa): a long-standing traditional remedy for scalp nourishment.
  • Neem: valued for its antioxidant and antimicrobial properties, which may help keep the scalp balanced.
  • Tulsi (holy basil): an adaptogenic herb for anti-inflammatory activity.
  • Hibiscus: rich in amino acids, and used to help hair hold moisture.

How to Build Your Routine

Daily serum use. Apply 1-2 pumps to a clean scalp in the morning and evening, then massage until absorbed. Wait 10-15 minutes before using other products.

Around your Alma TED sessions. We’ll give you specific instructions on timing your home routine around treatment days, based on your plan.

Support from the inside. Hair is built from what you eat and how you live. We may talk with you about protein, iron, and other nutrients, sleep, stress, and hormone health as part of a complete plan.

Give it time. Hair grows slowly. Plan on at least three months of consistent care before judging your progress, and take monthly photos in the same lighting.
